About
Amy’s love for people is the beacon guiding her to this beautiful work. As a trauma survivor, she brings the wisdom of her own healing, woven with the sacred stories of those she’s accompanied on their journeys. From hospitals to healing circles, she has witnessed how the soul aches for more than symptom relief—it longs for wholeness. Licensed to provide therapy in California, Illinois, and New Mexico, Amy blends ketamine- and psychedelic-assisted therapy with somatic psychology, EMDR, NARM, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and inner child focus. She walks alongside each client as a humble guide, honoring them as the expert of their own experience. Together, they gently uncover the wisdom beneath pain and unlock the inner healing intelligence that always persists. She completed training as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins (2021), and also a year-long psychedelic-assisted therapy fellowship through Integrative Psychiatry Institute (2023), with training in ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin, and other medicines. Amy serves through her private practice, Phoenix Era Wellness, offering integrative therapy and psychotropic management. Amy also co-founded the ketamine-assisted therapy retreat organization Transcendelic to create spaces where people remember who they are—through nature, community, movement, ceremony, and care. Her work is rooted in decolonization, liberation, and compassion. She believes no one is broken—only burdened. In every session, she listens for the quiet voice beneath the noise. She walks reverently with you toward the life that calls you home.

Message to clients
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Seeking support takes immense courage, especially if you’ve spent years feeling unseen, misdiagnosed, or disconnected from the roots of your pain. You may already understand the “why” behind your patterns, yet still find yourself looping in anxiety, shame, grief, or overwhelm. If you’re longing for something deeper—healing that honors your whole self—you’re in the right place. I’m Amy, a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner and trauma-informed therapy provider licensed in California, Illinois, and New Mexico. I bring a warm, grounded presence and a deep trust in your inner healing intelligence. You are not broken. The wisdom you seek is already within you—my role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with it. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe. I draw from ketamine- and psychedelic-assisted therapy, somatic psychology, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, NARM, inner child focus, and mindfulness. Our work will be shaped by your pace, your story, and your truth. Clients often share that they feel seen, empowered, and deeply supported in our sessions. This is powerful work. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, or a desire for meaningful transformation, I’ll be here to hold space—with tenderness, curiosity, and respect—as you return to yourself. Wherever you are on your path, I honor the step you’re taking right now. I’d be grateful to walk beside you!

I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Amy Milroy, and I can confidently say she is one of the most attuned and effective therapists I’ve encountered. Her unique integration of trauma-informed modalities—ranging from Somatic EMDR and IFS to ketamine-assisted therapy—allows her to meet clients with both depth and precision. Amy creates a space where clients feel profoundly seen, not just for their pain, but for their innate capacity to heal. She is a beautiful soul that blends clinical rigor with genuine heart.
