Message to clients
I’m Autumn Overbay, a dedicated licensed social worker committed to creating a safe, supportive space where healing and transformation can begin. My practice focuses on helping individuals, young adults, and parents who are navigating transitions, managing anxiety or stress, and seeking stronger, healthier relationships. Drawing on evidence-based practices such as attachment theory and trauma-informed care, I am client-centered, and my aim is to guide clients in developing emotional regulation skills, deepening self-understanding, and strengthening connections with others. I aim to offer more than strategies—I offer a partnership built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. Clients often describe my presence as calm yet purposeful. In our sessions, you’ll find a grounded professional who listens attentively and responds thoughtfully. My approach combines practical tools with space for reflection—because meaningful change often happens when you feel seen and understood. Outside my work as a therapist, I live on a small family farm with my husband, our three children, and a lively array of animals. That farm life—its rhythms of growth, patience, and nurture—shapes how I show up both personally and professionally. It reminds me daily that transformation takes time and care. If you’re ready to move toward a more peaceful, connected life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
