About
Dr. Beth Kurland is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping individuals cultivate resilience, mental health, and well-being. She specializes in mind-body approaches and evidence-based therapies to address anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, stress-related health challenges and more. Drawing from mindfulness, polyvagal-informed practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, Internal Family Systems, and clinical hypnosis, Beth takes an integrative, holistic approach tailored to each person’s unique needs. Her approach, grounded in neuroscience and psychology, helps people cultivate healing and growth by aligning the mind, body, and heart. Beth works with adults and adolescents in a warm, collaborative, and compassionate environment, helping clients understand the mind-body connection, build emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with their strengths. She also provides child therapy and parent guidance and support for families navigating child challenges. In addition to in-person sessions in Norwood, Massachusetts, Beth offers telehealth services to clients throughout Massachusetts, Vermont, and Florida. Her goal is to help each person move beyond surviving toward a more grounded, vibrant, and fulfilling life.

Finding the right therapist is an important step, and I’m glad you’re here. You may be feeling anxious, stressed, or unsure of how to move forward. You may be managing too much on your own or struggling to find balance between caring for others and taking care of yourself. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that change is possible—and that you don’t have to do it alone. In therapy, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what’s keeping you stuck and help you reconnect with your strengths. My approach is practical and compassionate, helping you understand your experiences through the lens of the nervous system, emotions, and thoughts working together. You’ll learn tools to calm your body, clarify your mind, and move toward choices that support your growth and well-being. Together, we’ll work to build resilience and self-trust so that you can meet life’s challenges with greater steadiness and confidence. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, loss, or life transitions, our sessions will focus on helping you create meaningful change from the inside out. If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and balance, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Let’s talk about how we can work together to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and at ease in your life.
