About
Bethany grew up between Alaska, East Africa, and the Pacific Northwest—always crossing thresholds, learning how to carry home in a few suitcases. Those early journeys shaped her into an adventurer, an outsider, a witness, and a deep lover of story. Before becoming a therapist, she worked in the arts and nonprofit world, traveling the globe, listening to people’s stories, and learning how personal and collective histories shape who we become. Over time, she found myself increasingly drawn to the deeper layers of human experience—the unseen forces, the untold stories, the patterns asking to be tended, not just endured. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over a decade. Alongside my clinical work, she has spent years immersed in depth psychology, dreamwork, archetypal studies, expressive arts, and animist ways of knowing. Her work is guided by the belief that healing happens in relationship—within ourselves, with others, and with the living, breathing world around us. She draws on the wisdom of dreams, archetypes, and symbolism believing that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, but in conversation with the world inside and around us. Completed trainings & studies include: Certificate in Dream Tending, NW Creative & Expressive Arts Institute, 9 month Apprenticeship in Depth & Archetypal Practices, The Enneagram in Clinical Practice, and 9 month study of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research (California Institute of Integral Studies). Above all, she believe that everything belongs: your longings, your contradictions, your wildness, your grief, your dreams. Your shadow. And your Light. All of you is welcome here.

Message to clients
Welcome. You’ve found your way here. Whatever led you to this threshold—a dream, a heartache, a whisper from somewhere unseen—you’ve arrived. Whether by accident or intention, you’ve landed here seeking something: a guide, a witness, a companion for the road ahead. I’m a Seattle-based therapist specializing in depth psychology, dreamwork, women’s therapy, and psychedelic integration. I work with seekers, healers, and those navigating life transitions, spiritual awakenings, or the lingering echoes of trauma. Finding the right therapist is its own kind of rite of passage. It’s no small thing to admit you’re ready to turn toward yourself—to meet what’s been waiting beneath the surface. Here, we don’t rush past the depths. We honor the mysteries, the unconscious, the old stories, and the wild intelligence of your life. This is soul work, psyche work, and dream work—therapy that blends modern psychology with archetypal, spiritual, and artistic approaches. Whatever called you here—I’m glad you came. If you’re ready to begin therapy in Seattle or online across Washington State, let’s talk.

Bethany is a kind, witty and brilliant therapist that I cannot recommend highly enough. I have had the tremendous privilege of journeying with her for over a decade of clinical consultation and education and time and time again I have personally been seen and tended to with such grace and intelligence that there has rarely been a moment I’ve left her presence that I have not been deeply Impacted.
