About
Bethany grew up between Alaska, East Africa, and the Pacific Northwest—always crossing thresholds, learning how to carry home in a few suitcases. Those early journeys shaped her into an adventurer, an outsider, a witness, and a deep lover of story. Before becoming a therapist, she worked in the arts and nonprofit world, traveling the globe, listening to people’s stories, and learning how personal and collective histories shape who we become. Over time, she found myself increasingly drawn to the deeper layers of human experience—the unseen forces, the untold stories, the patterns asking to be tended, not just endured. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over a decade. Alongside my clinical work, she has spent years immersed in depth psychology, dreamwork, archetypal studies, expressive arts, and animist ways of knowing. Her work is guided by the belief that healing happens in relationship—within ourselves, with others, and with the living, breathing world around us. She draws on the wisdom of dreams, archetypes, and symbolism believing that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, but in conversation with the world inside and around us. Completed trainings & studies include: Certificate in Dream Tending, NW Creative & Expressive Arts Institute, 9 month Apprenticeship in Depth & Archetypal Practices, The Enneagram in Clinical Practice, and 9 month study of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research (California Institute of Integral Studies). Above all, she believe that everything belongs: your longings, your contradictions, your wildness, your grief, your dreams. Your shadow. And your Light. All of you is welcome here.
