If you're a parent watching your child struggle to do their homework without overwhelm, worrying excessively about everything, or avoiding situations that make them uncomfortable, I want you to know you're not alone. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is having frequent meltdowns, forgetting assignments, struggling to make friends, or lying awake at night with racing thoughts. You might be wondering if you're doing something wrong, or feeling exhausted from not knowing the best way to support them. Maybe you're hearing from teachers that your child is "disruptive" or "not applying themselves," while you know they're really trying their best. These feelings are completely normal, and I'm here to help both you and your child navigate this journey together. As a child and teen therapist, I've seen firsthand how children can regain their confidence and families can feel calmers when they receive the right support. Through evidence-based approaches like Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I work with families to develop practical strategies that actually work in real life. What makes my approach different is that I don't just focus on reducing problematic behaviors. I help children discover their unique strengths and build genuine confidence. I also believe parents are the real experts on their children, so I'll teach you specific skills to support your child's growth at home. Every child has the potential to thrive, and my goal is to help your entire family build greater resilience and connections.
