About
Claire Summers, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker based in Los Angeles who works with adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, life transitions, and relational challenges. She creates a warm, collaborative space where clients feel seen and supported in exploring their inner worlds and building a more grounded, fulfilling life. Claire draws from a trauma-informed, integrative approach, tailoring each session to the unique needs of the individual. Her work is deeply rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness practices, and somatic awareness, helping clients reconnect with themselves and access their innate capacity for healing. She believes therapy is not about "fixing" what's wrong, but about getting to know all parts of ourselves with compassion and curiosity. Claire holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and has years of experience working in both clinical and community-based settings. She brings a calm, attuned presence to therapy and values authenticity, trust, and mutual respect in the therapeutic relationship. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about your inner experience, Claire offers thoughtful, nonjudgmental support. Her goal is to help clients feel more empowered, resourced, and aligned with their values as they navigate the complexities of life. Claire offers both in-person sessions in Los Angeles and virtual therapy throughout California.
