Nyasha Chikowore, PsyD
You should seek Dr. McVey out if you're wanting to feel supported without judgement and want a safe space to address your concerns. He does a great job at attending to many factors of your emotions and makes people feel comfortable in his presence. I recommend him if you're looking to address trauma as that's his strong suit.
W. Max Hurley-Welljams-Dorof, PsyD
Dr. McVey is an extensively trained, empathetic therapist. Beyond his formal training in EMDR, sex therapy, etc., his ability to connect with clients is what is most remarkable. When I've shared clients with him (through couples or individual), they often remark at how comfortable they feel with him to open up, while also gaining specifics tools to work through their presenting issues.
Rebecca Brown, PsyD
Dr. McVey is an incredibly empathetic and supportive clinician. His background in sex therapy and trauma covers ground most therapists can't touch, yet most humans have experienced. I frequently cross-refer patients to him.
