If you have experienced a traumatic event, you are probably feeling shocked and upset. Things that didn’t bother you before are now painful, jarring reminders of what happened. You relive the event over and over with no relief. The unwelcome memories and jangled nerves take their toll on your concentration, your emotions, your sleep, your body, your relationships, and your life. If you are haunted by something that is affecting you like this, know that you are not alone and there is hope. Trauma is treatable and you will not feel this way forever. You might be wondering what trauma therapy is like. There are a number of different ways of processing through trauma. I combine several different methods, tailored to your individual needs and personality, and respecting what you are comfortable with. You can read more about how I do trauma therapy on my website. When I do therapy, I explain each technique and give you the choice of whether it is something you would like to do. We go at a pace that is comfortable for you. You are in control and can choose to stop any technique at any time. I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to give you a chance to ask me any questions you have, and to give you a sense of what it would be like working with me. You don’t have to do this alone. You can get your life back.
