About Jennifer | She/her

Dr. Jennifer Stewart is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma, personality disorders, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She approaches psychotherapy with the belief that increased insight, effective coping skills, and a strong therapeutic relationship are cornerstones to facilitating positive behavioral change. She utilizes an integration of DBT, CBT, and relational therapy in her work, and she approaches therapy from a multicultural, holistic, intersectional perspective that takes into account each patient's varied identities. She received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University, an APA accredited program. Prior to that, she received her MSEd in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and her Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Boston College. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training and my postdoctoral fellowship training at VA Puget Sound- American Lake, specializing in PTSD and DBT. During graduate school, she trained in a variety of settings, including a partial hospital program, an inpatient unit, a college counseling center, private practice, and a Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center.
