About
Jorge Luis Steele, MA, CP (Q), is a bilingual therapist-in-training offering virtual counselling across Ontario. He brings an integrative and trauma-informed lens grounded in academic training across three countries: a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (Canada), a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology from ISEP (Spain), and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universidad De La Salle Bajío (Mexico). He is currently practicing under the clinical supervision of Haley Moore, RSW. Jorge specializes in working with adults and couples navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. He has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, men’s mental health, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those exploring identity, non-monogamy, or kink-affirming care. His approach is rooted in humanistic values and shaped by a blend of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, family systems, and solution-focused therapy. With professional experience in both clinical and community settings, Jorge is dedicated to providing a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space for healing and growth. Whether supporting someone feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or ready for meaningful change, Jorge brings warmth, empathy, and curiosity to each session—helping clients reconnect with themselves and build toward a more authentic life.

Message to clients
If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a while. Maybe you’ve been masking your neurodivergence, coping with grief, questioning parts of your identity, or trying to meet expectations that no longer feel true to who you are. On the outside, things might seem fine, but inside, you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. If that resonates, I want you to know you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this by yourself. I offer a warm and compassionate space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to reconnect with your sense of self. My approach is grounded in empathy and shaped by evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and a humanistic, client-centered foundation. My background includes training in Mexico, Spain, and Canada, and I bring both cultural sensitivity and lived experience to my work. I support individuals and couples facing anxiety, ADHD, autism, identity exploration, grief, relationship challenges, men’s mental health, and more. I also welcome clients in non-monogamous relationships or seeking kink-affirming care. Sessions are offered virtually in English or Spanish, making therapy accessible and flexible for your lifestyle. Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, but it’s also a powerful step toward healing. If you’re looking for a space where you can be fully seen and supported, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Feel free to reach out. I’m here when you’re ready.
