About
Lindsie Meek is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C) through IAEDP. She earned her Master’s in Social Work with a clinical emphasis from New York University. Before starting her private practice, Lindsie worked as a clinical supervisor and eating disorder therapist in a specialized treatment program. She supported clients in repairing their relationships with food and body and rediscovering who they are beneath the symptoms of disordered eating. Lindsie is passionate about helping people who struggle with self-worth, confidence, perfectionism, and anxiety. Her work focuses on uncovering the deeper patterns that keep clients feeling stuck or disconnected and helping them build a kinder, more trusting relationship with themselves and others. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles. She tailors her work to each client, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, Attachment-Focused EMDR (trained through the Parnell Institute), and parts work. Lindsie brings warmth, authenticity, and curiosity to her work. She believes healing starts with self-compassion and that real growth happens when we can meet ourselves with honesty and grace, especially in the messy parts. Her hope is to help clients reconnect with their own authenticity and move through life with greater confidence, peace, and trust in themselves.

Message to clients
Do you sometimes feel like you are not enough? Maybe you struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, or constantly questioning whether you are doing things “right”. These patterns can affect how you see yourself, how you show up in your relationships, and how you live your life. They can also show up in the way you relate to your body or to food, influencing choices, habits, and how you feel about yourself. These experiences are common and do not mean there is something wrong with you. They are ways your mind has learned to protect you, even if they no longer serve you. In therapy, I help clients understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and support them in building a stronger sense of self-worth. In our work together, we will focus on developing confidence, trusting your own judgment, and living in a way that feels authentic to you. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I firmly believe you are the expert of your own story! Reaching out for help is not always easy. If you are ready to start showing up for yourself differently, please schedule a complementary consultation call. I would love to connect, see if we are a good fit, and explore how I can support you!
