About Lisa | She/her

Lisa Franks, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. She is master certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and combines this powerful modality with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Lisa specializes in helping clients move beyond merely coping by addressing the root causes of emotional pain. Lisa works to empower others to feel more connected, grounded, and confident in their lives. With a background that includes working with military members, first responders, and overwhelmed professionals, Lisa brings a trauma-informed lens to every session. She understands how past experiences can shape present-day struggles with anger, emotional regulation, codependency, and self-worth. Whether working with individuals or couples, Lisa creates a warm, collaborative environment that promotes insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Lisa provides in-person therapy in Temecula, California, and virtual therapy throughout the state of California. She is passionate about helping people who feel stuck reclaim clarity and calm so they can build the kind of life and relationships they desire.

Message to clients

If you’ve been carrying the weight of past experiences for far too long, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or trying to hold it all together while quietly unraveling inside—you’re not alone. I work with people who are tired of working so hard to cope every day and are finally ready to truly heal. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, shut down, or angry and ready for real change. They may be high-functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside, struggling to express their needs, and longing for something to feel different. I specialize in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused approach that allows the brain to process distressing experiences and symptoms quickly, often in as few as 1 to 5 sessions, without requiring you to talk through the painful details. I combine ART with talk therapy modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT to support long lasting change. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and focused on helping you reconnect to your sense of self, your strength, and your loved ones. I’m here for the people who feel like no one really sees what they’re going through. If you’ve been silently screaming for peace, clarity, or relief, there is hope! Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, or major life transitions, you don’t have to do it alone. Therapy with me is a safe place to process, grow, and take action toward the life you want. You don’t have to keep powering through. You deserve support that goes deeper—so you can reconnect with yourself and create a life that feels more grounded, whole, and meaningful.
