About
Rachel Bradley is a Registered Provisional Psychologist based in Calgary, Alberta, and the founder of a private practice dedicated to thoughtful, evidence-based care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, a Diploma in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Rachel is registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and has completed advanced training in the Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Rachel specializes in couples counselling, adult individual therapy, and formal psychological assessments, including ADHD evaluations. Her work integrates structured, research-informed interventions with warmth, directness, and appropriate humour. She is particularly skilled at helping couples clarify patterns of conflict, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection, as well as supporting individuals navigating anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem concerns, and relationship stress. As an academic writer with peer-reviewed publications, Rachel values precision, clarity, and clinical integrity in her work. She does not approach therapy as a one-size-fits-all process; instead, she collaborates closely with clients to establish meaningful goals and create sustainable change. Clients appreciate her honesty, grounded presence, and genuine investment in their growth.

Message to clients
If you’re looking for a therapist who nods silently and says “mmhmm” for 50 minutes straight… I’m probably not your person. If you’re looking for someone who is real, engaged, occasionally uses humour at exactly the right moment, and genuinely cares about helping you create meaningful change — we’ll likely work well together. I work with adults and couples who are tired of going in circles. Maybe you’re overthinking everything at 2 a.m. Maybe your relationship feels more like roommates with shared Google calendars. Maybe you’re high-functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside. I get it. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and collaborative. We’ll set clear goals. We’ll figure out what’s keeping you stuck. We’ll gently (and sometimes directly) challenge patterns that aren’t serving you. And yes — we’ll probably laugh at least once along the way. I’m trained in approaches like ACT, IFS, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. Translation: I have tools. But more importantly, I know how to tailor them to you. You won’t be just a time slot in my calendar. I run a small practice intentionally so I can actually think about my clients between sessions. If you’re ready for therapy that is honest, focused, and human — I’d love to work with you.

Amy Shaw, Registered Psychologist
I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know this therapist through regular consultations, general meetings, and office rental in my private practice setting. They consistently show up as energetic and motivated to provide comprehensive and meaningful support to their clients. They appear deeply invested in their clients’ growth, and address presenting client concerns with informed clinical practice that inspires trust. What I especially appreciate is their ability to balance professionalism with warmth and humour; they know when to hold the hard moments and when a well-timed, light comment can help clients breathe again. I believe this therapist to be both competent and refreshingly human, and I trust that you’ll receive kind and capable support.
Deni Sidebottom, Registered Psychologist
Rachel brings humour into counselling in a way that feels natural and disarming, helping clients feel at ease even when discussing difficult topics. She utilizes direct communication with her clients and this is something they appreciate about her. Beneath her sense of humour, is a deep, genuine care for her clients, which is evident in the consistency, advocacy, and thoughtfulness she brings to her work.
Kate Harper, Registered Psychologist
As Rachel’s clinical supervisor throughout her provisional registration, I have had the opportunity to closely observe her growth, skill development, and clinical integrity. Through weekly supervision and review of her work, I have seen her confidence and competence deepen as she completed her required hours. She approaches her clients with thoughtfulness, strong clinical formulation skills, and genuine care, while maintaining clear ethical and professional standards. Therapy-seekers can expect a clinician who is both well-trained and deeply committed to meaningful, lasting change.
