Rachel has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Temple University. After working in clinical research and beginning her own journey of self-exploration, she discovered her passion for helping others heal and lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

Message to clients

I am a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed therapist who empowers my clients to create safety in their mind, body, and soul by building self-compassion and self-trust. I believe in an individual’s inherent knowledge and resiliency, pulling from Narrative Therapy practices that teach us to rewrite the narratives that no longer serve us. I invite clients to identify the effects of oppression and explore their responses and resources in the face of these challenges. I also encourage examining societal pressures and finding ways that authenticity and nonconformity can transform pressure into intention. I adapt my style of therapy for each individual, using supplemental therapies such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques. If you are interested in working together, I welcome you to schedule a free consultation call!

In my personal and professional experience, Rachel embodies the strengths that every successful therapist has. She is infinitely compassionate, innately curious, consistently humble, and eager to be a student of others’ experiences. She encourages everyone around her, clients and loved ones, to think outside the societal “box”, and instead live a life of creativity, intention, and purpose. Even with her strong values, I have also always been amazed at her ability to create a calm, trusting, and safe space for others to be themselves, and to explore their inner worlds. As her colleague and friend, I’m fortunate to be in Rachel’s orbit, and I think anyone who gets to be her client, will find themselves deeply supported and energized in her care.
