Dr. Renae DeLucia (she/her) is a licensed counseling psychologist dedicated to helping individuals live more empowered and fulfilling lives. Her doctoral research focused on how affirming and discriminatory experiences impact queer peoples’ mental health. Dr. DeLucia is currently licensed in Virginia and Wisconsin. At Radiant Pride Therapy, she provides affirming psychological care tailored to help clients thrive. Whether you're navigating life’s challenges, seeking personal growth, or striving to feel more aligned with your authentic self, she is here to support you every step of the way.
I specialize in providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ adults. Clients who enjoy working with me typically either have concerns related to sexuality/gender identity (i.e., coming out) and/or want to work with a therapist who is specifically connected to and trained in working with the LGBTQ+ community. I also strive to help clients understand how societal influences shape their experiences and empower them to reclaim agency for themselves and their communities. My clinical approach is grounded in a relational, feminist orientation, which means I emphasize the importance of authentic connection and collaboration in therapy. I enjoy creating a safe, affirming space for all clients. Together, we’ll explore your unique story and help you meet your goals.
