Seana works with people who long to feel more at home with themselves and in their lives. She weaves together multiple approaches within and beyond traditional psychotherapy, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatics and reiki. As a practitioner of tarot, astrology and ancestral veneration, Seana can incorporate these lens into the work when it feels supportive and aligned. Seana works with a diverse range of clients. She is particularly fond of working with adult adoptees, and brings both a personal and professional understanding of the complexities of identity, belonging, and grief associated with being adopted.
Welcome home. That's the energy I help my clients cultivate when they turn towards their own experience. The work I do is about homecoming - to yourself, your wholeness, your lineage, your story and what matters most to you. Please do not worry if this feels far away at present. It is possible to remember your belonging. It is your birthright. My clients have experienced things that leave them feeling hurt, fearful and disconnected. In session we'll meet protective and vulnerable aspects of you. As you befriend these parts, painful stories will loosen their grip and new meaning can emerge. Clients leave sessions with me feeling closer to themselves, able to move with forward with clarity and presence.

Seana has been focusing her clinical work with adoptees, seamlessly incorporating a trauma-responsive, culturally expansive, somatic-focused, and spiritually open approach to her work. As a Black, queer, transracial adoptee, Seana understands the layered complexities of living at the intersections and at the margins. If you are ready to explore and address your experience as an adoptee, a transracial adoptee, an adoptee in the search and reunion process, Seana will accompany you throughout this journey with care.
Seana combines a strong understanding and knowledge of Internal Family Systems therapy with a warm, thoughtful, and compassionate approach. She intentionally creates a space for clients to explore and work with their systems in order to facilitate deeper levels of healing. Seana also has a grounded and calm energy that is lovely to be around. I highly recommend her as a therapist!
