Tasha is a compassionate mental health counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, where her academic excellence earned them induction into the Chi Sigma Iota honor society. She brings a rich and diverse professional background, with experience in both private practice and substance abuse recovery settings.
In a residential and outpatient recovery facility, Tasha supported adult men and women facing co-occurring substance use and mental health challenges, and she restarted a women’s recovery group to provide a safe, empowering space for growth. For the past 3 years in private practice, she has worked with clients of all ages, specializing in depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, bipolar disorder, grief, ADHD/ADD, personality disorders, and life transitions.
Using an integrative approach that blends CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, Tasha creates personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. She is passionate about empowering clients to take an active role in their care, fostering self-awareness, creativity, and engagement throughout the therapeutic process.
Known for her warm, supportive, and open-minded nature, Tasha provides a safe space where clients feel valued, understood, and inspired to embrace their strengths. She is committed to helping individuals overcome challenges and build fulfilling, authentic lives.
