About Terri | She/her

Our innate ability to learn and adapt can get stuck by traumatic or overwhelming experiences. We may know what we should do yet have difficulty putting it into action. Specializing in trauma treatment since 2005, Terri continues to be inspired by her clients' courage, strengths, and growth. As an EMDR Consultant and Certified Therapist, treating traumatic experiences with EMDR has supported many clients' powerful healing. IFS-informed therapy, mind-body approaches like iRest Yoga Nidra meditation may also be woven into a personalized treatment plan. As a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (based on Brene Brown's wholehearted living and shame resiliency work) Terri's personal and professional life is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and a holistic perspective. Clients have shared that she is trustworthy, nonjudgmental, and they find her well-timed humor therapeutically helpful. Collaboratively you'll work to understand today's struggles, heal traumatic memories or feelings of unworthiness, and grow toward a life of health, connection, and belonging.

Message to clients

Somehow you survived a scary or overwhelming personal or workplace experience. But its left you struggling to manage your emotions, exhausted by haunting memories, or feeling disconnected from the people and work you care about. As a healthcare worker you are used to being the one giving help, not receiving it. Is the need to do it all yourself prolonging your suffering? You deserve the same kind of heart-centered support that you passionately provide to your patients. Don't resign yourself to a lifetime of just coping. Change is absolutely possible. Heal painful past experiences so you can Show Up authentically and joyfully in the work and relationships you love.
