About
Tori is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional -II. She is passionate about working with older adolescents and adults who have experienced the following: complex trauma and early attachment wounds, difficult/unfulfilling relationships with self and others, and challenges related to an unstable sense of self and self-worth. Tori's background includes working within both nonprofit and community- based settings to provide a wide range of mental health services to both individuals and families. Tori has specific expertise working with individuals who are experiencing mental health crises, to include suicidality and self-harm. She is passionate about assisting people through some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. However, Tori believes that you don't need to wait for a crisis to seek the support that you deserve. She believes in meeting you where you are, no matter where that may be in your healing journey. Her hope for your time together is to create a safe space for you to feel seen and heard as your most authentic self, or maybe even assist you in discovering who that may be.

Message to clients
You're noticing that the past continues to loom over you, your life, and relationships. No matter how hard you try, you can't shake the feeling that you'll never be "good enough." Maybe you struggle to feel truly seen/heard. When close others have caused us emotional harm, neglected us, rejected/abandoned us, or even abused us, this can drastically impact the way we feel about ourselves and relate to others. This may look like stuffing our feelings, compulsive caregiving/people pleasing, co-dependency, avoidance of intimacy, being excessively self-critical, etc. We may even feel that there is something inherently wrong with us. At one point, these behaviors were what kept you safe within your relationships. Today, you may notice that they prevent you from connecting to both yourself and others in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling. Therapy is a place where you can begin to better understand your experience growing up, how it impacts you, and how to heal/move forward.

I had the pleasure of working with Tori in the community mental health setting and witnessed her deep commitment to client care. She’s a trauma-responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist who leads with compassion, patience, and a strong sense of safety. Anyone seeking a grounded and supportive therapist would be in excellent hands with Tori.

Tori is a knowledgeable and reputable therapist. She is committed to offering a welcoming and supportive environment to her clients. Tori utilizes a trauma informed and compassionate approach, and works at a pace comfortable for her clients. She is always looking to further her skill set as a therapist by seeking out trainings and continuing education. Tori would be an excellent addition to therapy seekers because she is dedicated to her clients and her craft. I couldn’t recommend a better therapist.
