Message to clients
To anyone who has had to leave friends in the middle of brunch to respond to a last-minute client request, found themselves ill after making hours (and bonus), or spent their vacation responding to document requests staring at a field of sheep in New Zealand, I’m here to help. For those of you who are still struggling with balance and can relate (and have your own version of why it’s so hard to be an overworked/can’t say no/super together professional)--to you I say, “I get it.” Expect that in sessions I’ll be supportive, warm, and casual, while keeping us focused to make progress in treatment. I firmly believe that therapy should be practical, relatable, and tailored to you. Work-life balance is important, but it has to be based in reality. Your reality. And you.
My approach integrates evidence-based techniques with common sense, humor, and lived experience, empowering you to assert your needs, find your version of balance, and overcome self-doubt, living in a way that authentically aligns with your values. While I’m intentional in addressing more apparent problems on the surface, I enjoy supporting clients in long-term growth and fulfillment. Together, we'll navigate life's complexities with clarity, resilience, and compassion. A satisfying life takes work. The real question is, “what kind of work?”
